Kolkata, Mar 9 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): The music of the upcoming Bengali film ‘Phire Esho Tumi’ was launched inKolkata recently. Directed by Ashis Mitra and produced by Ajit Sureka, the music of the film has been composed by Ashok Bhadra.
Talking about the music of the film, Bhadra said, “I did the music keeping the latest trend in mind and most of the songs are melodious. There is also an item song in the film.”
There are total five songs in the film sung by popular singers like Jubin Garg, June Banerjee, Kalpana Patwai and others.
The entire cast of the film was present at the occasion; some of them were Badsha Moitro, Mrinal Mukherjee, Bodhisattwa Majumdar along with the leads cast Anup Sharma, Vivek Trivedi and Meghna Haldar.
When asked about the film, Ashis Mitra said, “The film is about the life of the girls who perform in bars to earn their livelihood. It is about how these girls are used, their talents are misused and then later on exploited. So the film will show how they will overcome these difficulties and be back to normal life.”
All the three leading actors of the film, Anup Sharma, Vivek Trivedi and Meghna Haldar talked about the characters they are playing in the film.
The film is scheduled to release in April.
