Bengali Cinema Release on Friday August 28th, 2009
August 27, 2009: After a long wait, Shob Charitra Kalponik is releasing this Friday, August 28th, 2009. Bengali movie lovers should be excited to have Rituparno Ghosh back to cinema again. Bollywood Blockbuster Bengali girl Bipasha Basu has paired with Tollywood Superstar Prosenjit for the first time her career.

There is no major release in Hindi this week while Kaminey still doing well in Box office. As per Bengali Cinema, Angshumaner Chhobi that released last week received mixed reviews from the critics and according to the Facebook Messages by Deep Banerjee (Social Media Strategist) people are watching Angshumaner Chhobi for multiple times. However, Angshumaner Chhobi will be facing tough challenge from Rituparno’s Shob Charitro Kalponik this weekend. Neel Akasher Chandni is still running in some of the movie halls but will not affect the target audience for either Angshumaner Chhobi or the Shob Charitra Kalponik.
Watching Bipasha Basu doing a Bengali film and speaking Bengali for the first time adds some additional spices to this week’s release. Bipasha, who is mostly seen in numerous bikini dance sequences will be seen in sari as a Bengali housewife. Apart from Bipasha Basu and Prosenjit, the movie also features Jisshu Sengupta, Pauli Dam and Sohag Sen.

What a silly thing to say about Bipasha – wearing Bikini etc. She has proved to be an actress of mettle from the very first movie. She has given solo-hits and also shone in multi-starrers. She is better than fat-lipped African Priyanka, Dalai Lama lookalike Kareena and Kashmiri sad-horse Katrina. I think Bengali media is a congregation of super idiots. Instead of damning your fellow Bengalis you had better spend time improving your English…

Also. At CT, we don’t feel bad about our English. We feel bad when we make mistakes in Bengali.
Lastly, wearing Bikini = damming Bipasha –> why did you think like that? Her bikini was bright into attention to signify the contrast of her wearing Sari in Shab Charitra Kalponik. Thats all. She looks hot in Bikini anyways.
