Bejonma (2010) Bengali Film to star Jackie Shroff

May 10 (Calcutta Tube)-Bengali Movie News: Jackie Shroff has not impressed with his two Bangla (Bengali) films. The first one was in Rituparno Ghosh’s Antarmahal. The second was Sanghamitra Choudhury’s Raatporir Roopkatha.  He also acted with Satabdi Roy in Lal Salaam. Square Productions has roped in this Bollywood actor to play a cameo in their forthcoming film Bejonma directed by Ashish Mitra. Jackie plays a NRI who marries village maiden Satabdi Roy. The marriage sequence was shot on a set constructed off the EM Bypass in Kolkata. “Bejamna is a family drama that revolves around a corrupt tea garden owner (Dulal Lahiri) and an honest businessman (Mukesh Khanna). Jackie has a special appearance in this film,” said Ashish Mitra.  Laboni Sirkar, Shreya Pande and Shakuntala Barua are part of the acting cast of the film.
