Washington, July 8 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): US President Barack Obama would have faced a different childhood as a biography on his father Barack Obama Snr revealed that he had planned to put his child on adoption with the Salvation army in 1961.
Obama, who hails from Kenya, wrote in his biography “The Other Barack: The Bold and Reckless Life of President Obama’s Father” that he and his wife Ann Dunham hatched the plan to put their child to adoption.
An immigration document adopted by reporter for The Boston Globe unveiled the story of President Obama’s childhood.
It was reporter Sally Jacobs who got the information from an immigration form of 1961 through Freedom of Information Act wrote in the book called “The Other Barack, The Bold and Reckless Life of President Obama’s Father.”
Some impotant portions of the book will be released in the coming week in The Boston Globe.
Incidentally it was in 1961 when senior Obama was studying in the University of Hawaii that he had taken up this plan.
