How much has life changed after the success of Antaheen?

Life has not changed as such but we have become a bit more matured, we have gripped the pulse of Aniruddha and Shantanu more in these two years as we came close to each other a lot.

Chandrabindu Band or the individual projects done by you both-which one is more close to your heart?

Obviously Chandrabindu band because today we both are here due to Chandrabindu. People have heard our songs, liked it through the Band which have helped us to move a step ahead with our individual projects. New ways have been opened for us which have helped us to flourish in different ways too.

Do other members of the Band support you for these projects?

Absolutely, they always support us. They are like a backbone to us. They have always been very lenient and helped us in many ways for our individual projects even.

What is the inspiration behind such beautiful songs?

Inspiration only comes when we feel that we are going to get paid for our work (laughs). No, jokes apart, when we feel that people are going to like these songs and will make us more renowned.

Is ambience needed for penning and making a good song?

Ambience is not needed at all but it should be a place where there is not too much noise of people or talking. A little bit of silence is required for us. These songs, Bola Baron and Rupkathara have been written in a hotel room and thus it was not at all a problem.

While writing a song or singing it, does knowing the sequence of the song make it more expressive?

Yes, the director briefs it to us which makes us more clear about the concept and a good composition is created.

After Aparajita Tumi, next is what?

Next is a movie ‘Asbo Ar Ek Din’ and a yet untitled album from Chandrabindu which will be a treat for the music lovers this Poila Baishak.
