The underwater Akshay Kumar action thriller ‘BLUE’ coming from the Shri Asthavinayak Cine Vision banner that hits screens this Diwali has been given a U /A certificate as per the censor board.

Blue is a visual extravaganza that has explored the rich marine life and aquatic life like never before. And this will be undertaken by a visionary debutant director Anthony D’Souza. This oceanic spectacle features Bollywood bigwigs like Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan, Rahul Dev and a special appearance by Katrina Kaif.

Made in collaboration with Hollywood and Bollywood big-wigs, the film boasts of the best technicians from across the world. The wild scenic beauty of the oceans has been captured by the underwater specialist cinematographer Pete Zuccarini, who has worked on Hollywood blockbusters like Pirates of the Caribbean and Deep Blue Sea. Laxman Udaykar captured the beauty of Bahamas and Bangkok.

This all-round action packed grandiose has none other than Oscar winner A R Rahman composing the tracks for the film with the winning combination of Resul Pookuty engineering the sound.

Just when you thought you’ve got the best combination, the icing on the cake comes in the form of International pop-sensation Kylie Minogue who has performed the special number ‘Chiggy Wiggy’ in the film.

Replete with action, underwater stunts, stylish characters, international technicians, and award winning musicians, the film has been shot in the exotic locales, and revolves around the complex relationships shared amongst the lead characters and their search for a lost treasure.

    I absolutely loved blue – similar to another movie which name I have since forgotten (also about treasure in the ocean). Blue was much better though considering the other wasn’t even good enough for me to remember the title :)
