  1. Really sad to know that Mammootty missed the award to BigB. I don’t know how amithabh can compete to the marvelous performance of mammootty in kuttysrank, palerimanikyam & pazhassiraja. basically makeup supported amitahbh for the character in paa. whareas the performance really matters in the 3 films mammootty acted! It’s the joke of year 2010 that Amithabh won the award. Same thing happened when Thilakan was nominated for perumthachan, and Big B won that time(1991) for a low class movie named Agnipath. At least they could have shared the awards for 2 actors like 1998 & 1999. I believe all film lovers must protest against this ugly & partial decision. Doesn’t matter whether south or north, when we compare these films Mammootty is much ahead of BigB and deserves the award. This is really a shame!! All those who watch these movies can blindly say that Mammootty missed this award only because of the North Indian lobby.
