Fallen Angel is a suspense drama with twists all along. A stranger, Eric Stanton, comes to a small California coastal town and meets two girls, who are quite opposite in nature. One of them is a beautiful sexy waitress Stella who also works as a hooker at night. The other lady is June with a wealthy family background who lives with her elder sister Clara Mills. Eric flirts with both of them and promises a happy home to Stella. But he marries innocent June for her money. On the night of their marriage, Eric leaves June to meet Stella and tells her how close they are to success. But to his horror , the next morning he finds out that Stella has been murdered. He evades with June to San Fransisco where June gets cought by the police. While the Mill sisters face a hard time with the police reinvestigation, Eric comes back to the town, surprising the police department. The movie ends here as the murderer gets revealed.

The movie has got a really smart story for that time, though the beginning could have been little bit more compact. Still it is a very enjoyable movie. Specially till you get to the very end, you can not even imagine who the murderer is.

Fallen Angel is the last picture for Alice Faye (June) more over two decades now.
